Aerial Photography

In the spring of 1999 Monteith & Sutherland Limited obtained colour vertical aerial photography covering all of the City of Sarnia, Point Edward and part of the Township of Moore. Each photo covers an area of 1200 metres X 800 metres with a resolution of 0.40 square metres on the ground equalling one pixel in the digital image.

Individual photographs can be merged together to create spectacular mosaics. The sample below contains six individual 1200 metre x 800 metre photographs merged together to illustrate a large area of Sarnia.

Mosaic Sample
