Ontario Basic Mapping
From
1984 to 1990 Monteith & Sutherland Limited carried out sixteen 1:2000
scale municipal mapping projects under the Ontario Basic Mapping (OBM)
program for the Ministry of Natural Resources. The scope of work included
field and office work related to the establishment of second order horizontal
control and third order vertical control on which photogrammetric mapping
was based. Permanent monuments were set and coordinate values were approved
for input into the Ministryıs permanent COSINE database.
