Monteith & Sutherland Limited survey section is an extension of J.C. Monteith's practice established in 1928 when Mr. Monteith assumed the practice of Mr. C. A. Jones, P.Eng.,P.S. Accordingly, we have in our files, plans and field notes of Mr. Monteith and Mr. Jones dating back to the late 1800's. Monteith & Sutherland Limited have successfully conducted legal surveys including pipeline and utility corridor surveys in various Ontario locales for over 40 years. Our hard copy filing system of over 20,000 properties and plans is conveniently accessible through our computerized database to provide efficient and accurate information on or around our clients property to facilitate boundary retracement. Our ablility to and retrieve land related information in this manner allows us to supply our client with an accurate and cost effective product. Our field staff is trained and equipped with the most modern equipment and software available and are experienced in evaluating and reporting boundary evidence necessary to formulate an expert opinion. Our CAD department is proficient in the use of numerous production tools including modern computers, large format colour plotters, Microstation/Autocad and other specitic surveying and mapping software.
