Second Span Blue Water Bridge
From 1996 to 1998 Monteith & Sutherland Limited were employed as the Project Surveyors for the International Blue Water Bridge Expansion Project where our duties included:

engineering base mapping

establishing and maintaining the project control network

alignment layout

quality assurance checks
- legal surveys
- deformation monitoring surveys.
The heavy construction atmosphere, confined alignment parameters and the international work environment resulted in a challenging application of a wide variety of survey principles.
