St. Clair Tunnel Construction Project
From 1992 to 1995 Monteith & Sutherland Limited provided surveying services related to the construction of a large diameter soft ground international rail tunnel from Sarnia, Ontario to Port Huron, Michigan under the St. Clair River. Our duties included:

design and specification of ground deformation surveys

software design and analysis
Upon the completion of the tunnel construction, our contract was extended to provide surveying services for the layout of the track works installation.
